“A New Way to Present Cases Online"
Using a common graphical format, the speaker will show a novel way to dynamically show cases online. He will show his own cases and share how this process was born and what it has evolved into.
Topics:
A new way to present treatment PA's and photos for sending as e-mail attachments or posting on social media.
Attendees will:
- Be shown why it is important to be as consistent as possible to maintain radiographic acquisition geometry for all PA's..
- See how basic Photoshop or Photoshop Elements skills can be used for image processing.
- See how the technique started as a way to show individual cases, but has evolved into much more. It can be a teaching tool and help to quickly disseminate ideas over the internet.

About the Presenter:
Dr. Ho has been interested in dentistry ever since he was a high school student in San Francisco. He went to UC Berkeley for college, Harvard School of Dental Medicine for dental school, VA Palo Alto, CA for hospital dentistry, and UCLA for his specialty training in microscopic and microsurgical endodontics. He has been using the microscope for the entire length of every procedure since 1999 and feels disappointed that many endodontists have not embraced microscopy. Nevertheless, he strives to be like Mahatma Gandhi and "be the change you want to see in the world (...of endo, at least)." As such, he has devoted his entire career to microscopic endodontics and restorative dentistry and currently lectures to help share all that he has learned over the past 20 years.
